A few days ago an ad came out over YouTube made by Republican candidate for president Rick Perry. It goes a little something like this:
After I watched it, I was none to happy with it. Rick Perry basically discriminates against a group of people based on there sexual orientation calls himself a good Christian. I thought one thing being Christian was being able to accept those who are different no matter who they are, not completely turning them away and closing the door. Why does it need to be like this? There are people out there that firmly believe in what Perry said in the video. We will always face discrimination in the world, there is no way to avoid it but when leaders like Perry allow for this discrimination, then our nation will lose. Love a brother and help and brother. To Rick Perry, c'mon man!

Thank You for Smoking
Tonight while filling the gas tank, I noticed the lady behind me was filling her tank in her car as well. She was holding me a pack of cigarettes and pacing around. She finally oped it up and lit it up. I was looking at her with my jaw dropped. I was thinking to myself, "really, I don't want to die tonight." A major fire could of occurred. To the lady who was to impatient to wait to smoke, C'mon man.

Tornado Safety
I was doing some research one night looking at what Oklahoma State University had. I look at their Resident Life pages for their housing and saw their housing safety information to my surprise I found some disturbing information.

Oklahoma State tells their students if that they are in car when there is a tornado, that they should remain in their car. That is the biggest the "no no" ever. People have died in their car during a tornado.

That is why you cant be in your car when there is a tornado. On May 24, 2011, there was a major tornado outbreak across central Oklahoma. In Canadian and Logan counties there were 9 deaths from the tornado, 5 of the deaths where people in their cars. This is crazy. To Oklahoma State University, C'mon Man!!

Got Milk?

Shopping around at Target to get some chips, I went into Valentines Day section. There was an empty endcap yet to be stocked. I notice something on one of the middle shelves. I looked in to see a carton of milk. Why is it sitting there? Because someone decided that they did not want it and was to lazy to walk it back 20 feet to the refrigerator. To the lazy customer, C'mon man.
Train v. Car

Driving around the suburbs of Richmond, I come to an intersection with a railroad crossing in it. Waiting my turn to make a right turn, I read a sign below the yield sign. It reads "Do not stop on tracks". Behold my eyes the car in front of me, stopped on the tracks. What if a train was coming and that car was there, who would win? To the driver of the SUV, C'mon man.
2007 All Over Again??
The Huguenot Bridge practically spans over two counties of Virginia. The bridge spans the James River of central Virginia. The bridge was completed in 1950 and today it has ha some major problems. Every time I drive across it, I wander to myself "Is this the day that the bridge will collapse from underneath me?" Finally VDOT decided to give up on fixing the bridge and just build a new one. To VDOT, C'mon man.
Snow? I think not
Its winter break for many colleges but the local schools are back in session. Well in the Commonwealth of Virginia the winter months mean the chance of snow. Virginia doesn't know how to really handle snow. Earlier this week, there was a large amount of talk over a possible winter storm for Virginia. This is the same storm that brought ice and snow to Dixie Alley. Well, we got some snow and sleet but it turned to rain. The big problem was that the many school systems jumped the gun and closed schools and it a snow day occurred for rain. After the record amount of snow last year, I thought that the state would have learned to deal with a threat but apparently not. To the school systems in central Virginia, C'mon man.

F$#@%^* Sharkface

On a portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476), there is a toll plaza near Norristown, PA. On the crash barrels there is a sticker. It is a wake up call just because of the wording of the sticker. It's a naughty word. To the Pennsylvania Department of Transplantation, c'mon man for not taking it off. To the idiot who put it on there, c'mon man.
Respect the Ambers
We all travel on the highways. It doesn't matter which state you are in, its all the same. The dangers of all the highway are there as well. Police, emergency personal, and DOT workers face dangers of traffic. People have been hit by passing cars and killed. On many highways, cars and trucks travel 70+ mph, recklessly weave and tailgate. It is a terrible thing to hear of a person being killed doing their job because a driver could care less. C'mon man, respect the ambers.
Smoking is more dangerous than you think.

Traveling up 95 towards Washington. I'm sitting up front looking at the south bound lanes and how grid locked they were. It looked awful to be in. Then I notice some smoke rising in the distance behind a bridge. I thought it was exhaust from a truck or car. Once we get around the bridge there was a brush fire. It was fairly large. What made it worst was that the no one really noticed the fire. Cars were driving past with no problem or hesitation. To top it off, we see the fire department coming to put the fire out. Well, they were trying to get to the fire. Like I said the highway was grid locked so the fire department struggled to move through the traffic. The cars would not move over for the fire truck. There is a fire. Move over for an emergency vehicle. I don't care if it delays you. Don't delay them! C'mom man.
